Dear UpWorks Community,

After much thought and consideration, I have exciting news to share with you. On-Track 4 Employment’s name has been changed; I am pleased to introduce you to our new and revised training initiative, the P.A.C.E. Program. Our motto for this particular initiative is “interpersonal development that shifts individuals from being job focused to career focused”! The reason for the name change is to provide more detail behind our work in the area of equipping participants in the field of personal development. There are several job training agencies that focus on job-development and job-placement. These particular organizations are necessary; furthermore, we network with some of them, but our mission and focus are entirely different.

This particular training puts emphasis on developing each participant in the area of soft-interpersonal skills development before they are hired, which enables them to maintain their new job for the long haul. One of the problems we see in the job market is new employees from urban environments tend to quit their job, or they are terminated within the probationary period. There is an on-going need to combat this problem.

Even though we train businesses, corporations and non-profit organizations on the importance of cultural engagement, we are also intentional about seeing individuals thrive and develop a consistent “P.A.C.E.” in every-day life and at their place of employment. In return, employees will become more career-focused vs. job focused.

We believe and know this strategy will combat the attrition rate. We are excited about this new season! Thank you for your continued support through your prayers, donations and volunteering your time to walk alongside individuals.
